Saman Zadtootaghaj is a researcher at the Telekom Innovation Laboratories of Deutsche Telekom AG. He spent his undergraduate years at IASBS. After getting his bachelor degree, he started graduate studies. To enter graduate school, he had to compete with more than 10000 contesters where he was able to attained 50th place. Consequently, he got into University of Tehran, nation’s best offerings. He had quite a few serious research experiences during graduate and undergraduate studies. The first one was internship in Iran Telecom Research Center (ITRC) where he worked on Practical analysis of Persian Machine Translation and standards. The second one was working on data mining in his bachelor’s final project in which he investigated Word Based Approach to Detect Near-Duplicate Threads in Webpage Indexing. In Master, He joined Multimedia Processing Laboratory under supervision of Professor Mahmoud Reza Hashemi. Based on his interests he started his research on Multimedia and Vision Methods on Games. His master’s thesis topic was “A Learning-Based Algorithm to Detect Region of Interest in Cloud Gaming”. The main objective of his thesis was to develop an eye tracking based visual attention model for cloud gaming application, so he has got familiarized with the basics of perceptual models during his M.Sc.
